"Martial Arts In the Time of Firearms" is now up for streaming and download @ OUR BANDAMP PAGE! HOWEVER, we still need help raising funds to get the physical CDs pressed so PLEASE donate here! Our CD Release Party in Brooklyn is coming up April 6th, but we may be selling the album at our show in Danbury on March 31st, so stay tuned. Hope you like the new record!

March 2nd, 2012:
OFFICAL: Our new record "Martial Arts In the Time of Firearms" will be available online for digital download and stream starting March 11th, 2012 and physical copies will be available at our CD Release Party @ 107 Stockton in Brooklyn, NY on April 6th! January 25th, 2012:
BIG NEWS: We now have up for your streaming pleasure, our song "Deathbag." This is the first single from our new record entitled "Martial Arts In the Time Of Firearms" which will be released VERY soon! We are currently getting album artwork/layout together and will post that along with the track listing as soon as its ready. We've been working on this 6 track, 40 minute album for nearly a year and are very proud of the final product. We're working on getting some album release shows together for March/April...stay tuned for updates!

November 15th, 2011:
Sorry it's been so long since an update, but we are currently in the process of mixing our new record! Look for the details about the record and its release in the near future. In the meanwhile, we've got plenty of shows coming up and would love to see you come out!

August 6th, 2011:
We're so close to done tracking the new record we can taste it. Expect a sample soon. We're in the process of relocating our rehearsal space, but once we're all settled in we'll be back to booking for the Fall/Winter! See you at a show.

May 22nd, 2011:
We've been busy at work recording our new, currently untitled album and already have almost all of the drum and bass tracks down, as well as some guitar and auxiliary instrumentation. In other news, we're featured in the new issue of The Deli Magazine. We've got some really fun shows on books for the summer time...mostly in New York, all of which with friends and great musicians. Hope to see you there!

March 19th, 2011:
The recording process has begun! We've been up at Nada Recording Studio and have a lot of drum tracks done already. We're going to take our time with this one and be very meticulous, so please be patient! It's already looking very exciting and we can't wait for you all to hear these new songs (if you've seen us live in the past couple months, chances are you've heard a couple). We've got some more great shows for the spring, including National Record Store Day at the wonderful Eyeconik Records in Franklin, NJ. We'll have some down time from mid-May to mid-June, but big things are in the works for the summer...stay tuned!

February 17th, 2011:
Ladies and gentlemen, we are pleased to present to you the debut of our music video for "Fantasy Elbow Ride" directed by Joshua Wolff! Please view it on the bottom left hand side of the website (can be put into full screen mode) or in the media section. It's a very straight forward and simple performance video that attempts to capture the energy of our live shows, be sure to tell us what you think of it. We're very grateful to Josh for helping us out with this and his hard work really paid off for the final product. We've got a lot of shows booked and a lot more in the works, hope to see you all soon!

February 10th, 2011:
We've had some great shows recently, thank you so all for coming out and having a good time with us. We'll be playing TWO New York shows later this month (the 18th @ Bruar Falls and the 22nd @ Cake Shop) and look forward to seeing some familiar faces. We'll begin recording drum tracks for our new record on the 27th and are currently working on pre-production. We cannot wait for you all to hear recordings of these new songs, as we are extremely proud of them. Keep visiting the website for updates on the recording process!

December 14th, 2010:
Thanks to everyone who has been coming to our recent shows in Brooklyn! We've had a lot of fun at all of them and are very much looking forward to playing with our friends Slim Charles again at Spike Hill on the 30th. In other news, we will finally be coming back to Boston in the New Year! We're very excited to be opening for Thomas Pridgen (of the Mars Volta) and his new band The Memorials at Church in February. More immediately, we will be shooting/working on our first music video over the holidays (more info soon to come about that). We're starting to really iron out all the new material so that we can get back in the studio in early 2011! This year has been great for us and next year is looking like it'll be even better. Thanks and Happy Holidays everyone

November 22nd, 2010:
As winter and the holiday season steadfastly approaches, Hannibal Montana has a lot to look forward to in the New Year. Expect some updates about New England area performances, HM videos and recording our sophomore album in the very near future. In the meantime, we've got a lot of great shows coming up in Brooklyn and we would LOVE to see you there! Happy Thanksgiving!

October 12nd, 2010:
Here's your Hannibal Montana update: we have been writing new material ever since we returned home from tour in August. Currently, we have about 30 minutes of material prepared for a new album we will begin recording in early 2011. We've also booked a good number of shows for October/November in NY & CT and are currently booking for December! Come out to some of these shows and you're likely to get a taste of some of our new stuff!

August 2nd, 2010:
We've arrived back home safe and sound after our first tour. We had a blast at all the shows and hope that everyone who saw us did as well! We played a handful of dates with Big Fiction from Dallas, TX and have nothing but good things to saw about those dudes. Check them out for sure. Big thanks goes out to everyone who gave us food, beer, a place to stay, or just a good conversation. We're really excited to be playing a couple shows close to home to round out the Summer and are currently booking for the fall! Also, we've started slipping some new material into our sets to keep things interesting for everyone...be on the look out.

June 26th, 2010:
A big thanks to everyone who came out to our CD Release Show last night! Things went great and we would like to especially thank the Heirloom Arts Theatre staff for letting us put the show on there. You can now buy a physical copy of our self-titled debut full-length album in the webstore. We also have brand new t-shirts available (we'll get a photo up ASAP) and from now on all orders will ship with FREE Hannibal Montana stickers! Be sure to check out our tour schedule as we'll be playing all over the north eastern USA this summer.

June 1st, 2010:
As you can see, the website has had a bit of a facelift. This is in celebration of the official digital release of our self-titled debut full-length album. Head on over to http://hannibalmontana.bandcamp.com to stream it for free! A physical release will be available June 25th so stayed tuned!

May 24th, 2010:
Finally, ladies and gentlemen, we can give you information on the release of the debut Hannibal Montana self-titled full-length album. On June 1st, 2010, we will have the full 10 track album available for free streaming online. It will also be available for download at a moderate price. For now though, head on over to our myspace page for the track listing, album art and BRAND NEW HANNIBAL MONTANA SINGLE, entitled "Fantasy Elbow Ride." Our late July tour of the northeast is really starting to take shape, so check out the shows section of the site for updated dates.

April 8th, 2010:
BIG NEWS: we will be touring at the end of July! Check the 'shows' page for the tour itinerary and please let us know if you can help us find a venue/promoter/band that will have us on a show anywhere in the general area! We have some other shows coming up as well including April 28th at TRASH in Brooklyn and April 29th at Falstaff's in Saratoga (with some great bands). We're setting up our CD Release show for late June, just to be safe. Should be making more show announcements soon!! Oh yeah...and you should expect the album art and track listing in a few weeks.

March 22nd, 2010:
Quick update for all interested: we are almost finished recording our debut album! We will be working on mixing & mastering as well as album art and layout throughout the month of April. We plan on having an album release show sometime late in May or early in June. Stay tuned. Be sure to come see our return to the almighty TRASH BAR on April 28th!! February 16th, 2010:
We have been hard at work recording and have a good chunk of music done. All drum tracks were wrapped up a couple weeks ago and we've since begun recording bass and guitars. Right now, we're looking at a late-spring release (but that is no promise). We've just booked a show at the Heirloom Arts Theatre in Danbury, CT for March 19th. This show will feature projections, so if you're in the area don't miss it! More shows in the works.

January 11th, 2010:
Happy Twenty-Ten everyone! We've got a lot going on in the new year, as we are beginning to record our debut full-length album. We've got all the pre-production done and we're gearing up to begin recording drums this week. We've got a show in the Boston area on the 23rd of January, so if you're in town please come out to see us! More info on that in the 'shows' section of the site. We have added a video clip from our last show at the Heirloom Arts Theatre in Danbury, CT to the site (check that out in the 'media' section) and Steve Jumper is working on editing some new videos to throw up online very soon. You can now stay hip on Hannibal Montana happens by joining the mailing list (visit the 'contact' page to sign up). Oh yeah, and we have some awesome new photos up, too!

November 16th, 2009:
We've had very successful shows in both Boston and Saratoga Springs and we'll back in both areas within the next few months. We're currently working on finishing up new music so we can begin recording our debut full-length. Some video footage will be up within the next few weeks, so you can look forward to that. Also: we now have t-shirts and a 'web store' where you can purchase them! More merch soon.

October 22nd, 2009:
Hannibal Montana are coming to Boston this weekend, so brace yourselves! We're currently booking shows for November and December, so stay tuned for that. Also: videos coming very soon.
